restaurateur alan yau opened the original hakkasan restaurant opened in london back in 2001. upscale, stylish and with a menu for those with a knack for fine dining, his contemporary take on the chinese restaurant took the british capital's hospitality scene by storm. since then the hakkasan empire has gradually expanded across the planet, and after opening up in abu dhabi last year, it has now opened in neighbouring dubai on the ground floor of the jumeirah emirates towers. the restaurant seats 152 and offers an additional 88-seat capacity on the ambient outdoor terrace.
