和迪拜的人口包罗万象一致，迪拜的教育体制也非常丰富，有英制的、美制的、法国体制的、印度体制的、日本体制的、印度体制的以及国际体制的等。每年，迪拜教育局（KHDA）都会对所有的私立学校进行考察，并出具报告。报告中，根据考察结果，会将学校分为优秀（Outstanding）、良好（Good）、可接受（Acceptable）和不可接受（Unacceptable）四个等级。

迪拜教育局对于学校的考察、评级由国际专业的团队根据以下几个方面做出：

1、  学生在关键领域的表现（如数学、科学、阿拉伯语、伊斯兰文化、英文）；

2、  学生个性与社交能力的发展；

3、  教育、学习、评估方式的优劣；

4、  课程设置是否符合所有学生的教育需求；

5、  学校的安全性；

6、  学校的管理能力；

7、  学校的整体表现。

考察后，每个学校都会出具一份考察报告，报告中除了评级结果，还会详细描述学校各个方面的表现情况及缺陷，家长可以在KHDA的网站上找到每个学校的考察报告。因迪拜教育局的有些评估重点不一定是每位家长重视的，比如伊斯兰文化与阿拉伯语，就不是每位家长都非常重视的，所以，建议家长在给孩子选学校的时候不要只看重评级，要参考整个评估报告，重点参看自己重视的部分。

目前，迪拜教育局公布的优秀学校一共有12所。被评为良好的Jebel Ali Primary School(UK)在2011/2012年是优秀，因阿拉伯文化的教育不够而被降级。却是迪拜家长评价很好的学校。学校评级详情请参看所附列表。

一般来说，评级优秀和良好的学校有以下特征：

1.         学校管理层管理有效，持续提高学校教育，根据迪拜教育局报告中的建议及时改进；

2.         学校理念渗透到高级管理层整个团队，即使校长离职，学校教育质量也不会受影响；

3.         学生对于学校理念、教育的重大决定的参与度高；

4.         师资力量强大，理解学生学习的规律和特性，有丰富的国际教学经验；

5.         各个学科的教授中，充分利用计算机这个工具；

6.         课程设置丰富且合理，可以帮助学生在课后的社区生活中继续学习；

7.         学生安全方面有较高保障；

8.         家长对学生在学校的教育参与度高；

9.         学校对于自身的不足完善的很快，不断提高；

10.     有效的学校治理，认真考虑学生的学术及个性的发展。

看了以上的介绍，家长们是不是已经心动了？但是，不得不提醒一下，迪拜的优秀学校申请竞争很大，家长在给孩子选校时，要有几手准备，多报几所学校，除了评级优秀的这些，还要报几所评级为良好的学校，作为后备方案。不断关注自己心仪的学校的注册信息，及时注册，才能给孩子赢得更好的机会。
